 Acting as an intermediary between the communities in Edo State and the Edo State Government.

 Consulting with the Department of Community Development in the Ministry of Information and Communication with a view to getting current update on issues relating to community development.

 Regular visitation to the communities in the state to be well acquainted with the state of development of the communities.

 Identifying areas where communities are lacking in terms of development and reporting same to the appropriate government authority for possible action.

 Encouraging the formation of Community Development Associations (CDAs) in the various communities, in order to ensure that each community is carried along on issues of development.
