Edo State Rural Electricity Board (REB)

STATEMENT OF AFFAIRS

Edo State Rural Electricity Board which was established by Edict No. 6 of 1972 is charged with the responsibility of extending electricity supply to rural communities in the State. The Board carries out the planning, design and execution of electricity projects and hand over to PHCN after commissioning. The Board therefore, renders social services to the people; and as such does not generate revenue.
