TOURISM BOARD
The State Tourism Board was constituted on 16th February, 2010 with the Chairman Miss Aanema Jemitola and 14 other members. It responsibilities include the promotion and development of Tourism in the State. The Board plays an advisory role to the Ministry in the maintenance of tourism sites, centres and monuments and also showcases our tourism endowment; Liaise with the Federal Government through the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC) which is empowered to register and classify hospitality enterprises in the country and other tourism related matters.

EDO HOTELS
Edo Hotels is under the purview of the Department. However, the Hotel is now under a new Management. The present Manager has not reported to the Ministry since her appointment. The control of the Hotel should revert back to the Ministry for proper oversight.
