Veneto region signs protocol of understanding with Edo State to promote
Vocational training, Digitisation ,creativity, culture and Agriculture.
The Government of Veneto region
formalized and strengthened the mutually beneficial relationships Veneto has with Nigeria and stressed that this was the first time the Veneto region was getting into a collaboration with a state in Nigeria.
Vice president Veneto region; Elisa De Berta congratulated Gov Godwin Obaseki for the successful Commissioning of the Nigerian pavilion at the Biennale Art exhibition and congratulated Edo for being the first state in Nigeria to go Digital stressing that Edo going paperless improves efficiency and effectiveness in Government processes.
Ms Elisa celebrated Edo on the tremendous progress the Government has made in drastically reducing illegal migration as Edo is no longer on the list of top 10 states for illegal migration in Nigeria.
Gov Godwin Obaseki expressed gratitude to Vice President Elisa and thanked the Government of the Veneto region for the collaboration Edo has enjoyed in the last 7 years and gave assurance that Edo will pursue the protocol of understanding with utmost zeal.
