The Chairman of the Edo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mallam Musa Muhammad Uduimoh, today met with a group of Muslim Media Professionals in Jattu-Uzairue, seeking their support and cooperation in his endeavours.
Represented by his Personal Assistant, Maruf Shuaib Isah, the Chairman emphasized the importance of a strong media partnership with both government owned and private media to ensure the successful execution of the Board’s responsibilities.
The meeting which was held at Izharudeen Muslim Secondary School, Jattu Uzairue, Etsako West Local Government was attended by representatives from
Sparknewsline9jaltd, Auchi Blog, Afemaireporter, Password Media World, AI TV, SELVOX Media Networks, and Subtle Media Networks.
In response to the Chairman’s appeal, the Muslim Online Media Professionals expressed their support and offered valuable advice. Among the key recommendations presented to the chairman was adequate Media Coverage of pre-Hajj activities, Hajj activities and post-Hajj activities of the board.
The need to establish a platform for ongoing communication and collaboration between the Board and the media was also discussed. The platform is to ensure all stakeholders are kept informed and involved in the Board’s activities going forward in order to achieve visibility.
This meeting signifies a crucial step towards a stronger partnership between the Edo State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board and the privately owned Online media by Muslims, aimed at enhancing transparency, accountability, and public awareness of the Board’s activities.
