The Vice Chairman, Akoko-Edo Local Government Council, Rt Hon Comrade Tope Jacob has received the village head of Egetua community, Chief Peter Momoh in his office at the Council Headquaters.
Speaking on behalf of the council boss, the Vice Chairman, commended the community Chief on his disposition about security matters in the community, positing that synergy is key to checkmating the spate of criminal activities in the area. He added “Government cannot do it alone. When you see something, say something!
I appreciate your intelligence gathering and security tips. As a responsive government, every community matter to us as it is our resolve to work assiduously to improve the security situation in Ososo and environs as well as the entire local government area”.
Speaking earlier, the village head said he was on a courtesy visit to felicitate with the vice chairman on his elevation to the exalted position as the number two citizen of the local government area while suing for the council’s collaboration to curb the menace of criminal activities in the locality.
