The Edo State Commissioner for Mining, Hon. Andrew Ijegbai has assured the Twinsporium Entertainment Agency of his supports in the Agency’s commitments towards promoting talent development among youths in the State.
Hon. Ijegbai gave the assurance while playing host to representatives of the Agency, who were on a courtesy visit to the office of the Commissioner, on Wednesday 16th July, 2025, in Benin City.
He pledged to support the Agency accordingly and declared that his office is wide open to supporting anyone trying to make a name legally in the State, as he was an indigen before becoming the Commissioner for Mining.
According to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Twinsporium Entertainment Agency, Comrade Udo Peter Oshomah, the Agency’s visit was part of its preparation for the Fashion Runway event scheduled for December, 2025.
Briefing the Commissioner on the Agency’s activities and its contributions to the entertainment and creative industry across Nigeria, he asserted that the Agency is a fast-rising entertainment organization which is into acting, choreography, event planning and management, modeling, ushering, Master of Ceremony and disc jockey services, and pageantry.
Comrade Oshomah explained that the nationwide auditions for the pageant segment of the Fashion Runway had been concluded, setting the stage for the grand finale later in the year. The Team while soliciting the Commissioner’s support for the upcoming event, extended an invitation to attend the December event as Special Guest and also announced the Agency’s intention to present him with an award in recognition of his dedication to youth empowerment and development in the State.
The visit concluded with a vote of thanks by the Ambassador of Twinsporium Entertainment Agency, Miss Oghenefejiro Uvho, who appreciated the Commissioner for his warm reception and encouraging words.
The engagement is one of many that underscore Hon. Ijegbai’s exemplary leadership, reflecting his commitment to supporting creative ventures, youth entrepreneurship, and developmental partnerships across Edo State. His leadership continues to inspire a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and progress, within and beyond the Mining Sector.
