In recognition of the numerous achievements on the crusade against violent practices against women and children, as well as the championing of courses on women’s empowerment, the Edo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Chief Bisi Idaomi Esq. has been inducted as a member of the Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum NBAWF.
The induction ceremony was part of engagements during NBAWF’s courtesy visit on the Commissioner in her office at the Edo State Government Secretariat Complex in Benin City. While appreciating members of NBAWF, Chief Idaomi reaffirmed her unwavering commitment to empowering women in the State through the instruments of her Ministry, assuring that female lawyers are also part of the vision.
Recognizing the immense value and potentials of female layers, Chief Idaomi assured them of her dedication to their growth and development, through targeted support, mentorship, and empowerment initiatives, to help them overcome challenges, achieve their goals, and reach new heights of professional excellence.
Earlier, members of NBAWF led by Bridget Imuentiyanosa Iguodala, highlighted the Association’s objectives, emphasizing its commitment to empowering female lawyers to enhance their success in the legal profession.
NBAWF commended Chief Idaomi for her remarkable achievements and expressed pride in her accomplishments as a female lawyer. Highpoint of the engagement was the induction of the Commissioner as a member of the Association and was appointed to host its meeting of October, 2025.
