The Coordinator, Office of the Edo State First Lady, Mrs. Edesili Anani has asked for the continued supports of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) in educating and propagating the activities and developmental programmes of the State Government, aimed at promoting development of youths as future leaders.
Mrs. Anani made the call during an engagement with delegates of the NTA, Benin Network Centre at the Government House in Benin City. She appreciated the delegates for their support and for helping to amplify the administration’s impactful projects and programmes through the medium. According to her, “I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your presence and for all your efforts in promoting our initiatives. Your role in highlighting our work is invaluable, as it helps us reach a wider audience. I’ve always emphasized the importance of the media in our endeavours; without your support, our efforts might go unnoticed.”
She advocated for the implementation of programmes targeted at youth development, as part of the conscious efforts of preparing them for the future, which leadership lies on them, as well as for interactive initiatives to empower women by addressing their specific needs. She restated the Governor Monday Okpebholo-led administration’s steadfast commitment to empowerment, healthcare, and good governance for residents in the State.
In her remarks, the Zonal Director, NTA Benin Network Centre, Teyi Ajayi, appreciated Mrs. Anani’s dedication to the welfare of residents in the State. She highlighted potential collaborative areas to include women’s empowerment, healthcare, and education, saying her Organisation eagerly anticipate a productive partnership with the Office of the First Lady in publicizing activities and programmes of the State Government.
