AG and Commissioner for Justice Charges Staff to Uphold Justice, Integrity



‎The Edo State Attorney General (AG) and Commissioner for Justice, Prof. Roland Otaru (SAN), has charged staff of the Ministry of Justice to be diligent and dedicated to duties.

‎Prof. Otaru (SAN) gave the charge upon assuming office, emphasizing the importance of upholding justice, integrity, and accountability within the Ministry. He condemned unethical practices and pledged to address them decisively.

‎“The time has come for us to rebuild public trust. The Ministry of Justice must be a beacon of truth and fairness”. He said.

‎Addressing the staff during the engagement, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice urged them to work with renewed purpose and commitment by taking their responsibilities seriously. He assured that under his leadership, the Ministry of Justice would work tirelessly to uphold justice, maintain peace and ensure the security of Edo State in line with Governor Monday Okpebholo’s vision of a peaceful and secure State.

‎Present at the engagement included his wife, Dr. (Mrs.) Comfort Roland-Otaru,
‎the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs. Aikefe Aigbavboa and staff, who warmly welcomed the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice.
