The Coordinator, Office of the Edo State First Lady, Mrs. Edesili Okpebholo Anani, has received an honorary membership of the Rotary Club of Benin Metropolitan in recognition of her outstanding contributions to community service and commitment to making positive impact in the State.
At the ceremony in Government House, Benin City, Mrs. Anani expressed gratitude to the Rotary Club for the honour and appreciated the humanitarian efforts of the Club, stressing the impact of individual contributions to community progress.
”Thank you for this award. As a servant leader, I believe true leadership is about serving others. I am excited to partner with like-minded individuals on projects that benefit Edo State”. She said.
Mrs. Anani expressed readiness to collaborate on initiatives like the Widows Programme, where they can make meaningful impact together, pledging her support for the Rotary Club’s efforts.
The President of the Rotary Club of Benin Metropolitan, RTN. Elizabeth Ativie, appreciated Mrs. Anani, stating that the ceremony would solidify a partnership rooted in shared values of compassion and service. She disclosed that as an honorary member, Mrs. Anani would join a global network dedicated to serving humanity, amplifying Rotary’s impact in Edo State, while expressing the Club’s eagerness to strengthen ties with Her Excellency’s office.
