Edo State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Hon. Paul Ohonbamu has advocated for strategic partnership between the private sector and the Government to drive meaningful development in the State.
Hon. Ohonbamu made the call while playing host to the Proprietor of Liberty American Leadership Academy, Mr. Okenfe Aigbe Liberty and his Team, who were on a courtesy visit to the Ministry in Benin City. He commended Mr. Okenfe for his foresight in giving back to the society by establishing a citadel of learning for residents of the State.
”What you have done is not an accident of history, it is a true Edo reality and so I must commend you. I will urge you for collaborative work and areas of interest with any MDA which will enable the people and the Government to feel your impact. When we collaborate, gray areas will be taken care of”. The Commissioner said.
He urged all well-meaning Edo sons and daughters, particularly those in diaspora to always give back to the society, through their resources and expertise for the growth and development of the State.
Earlier in his remark, Mr. Okenfe commended the Commissioner and the State Government for the seamless access to information as well as the various developmental strides of the Governor Monday Okpebholo-led administration in the State.
Mr. Okenfe noted that his studies in the United States and work experience in campaign administration, government and community affairs had motivated him to give back and impact lives positively, especially in Edo State, which is his place of origin. He formally invited the Commissioner for the first Graduation Ceremony of Liberty American Leadership Academy, scheduled to hold on the 22nd of July, 2025, in Benin City.
