The Edo State Government has felicitated with renowned accountant and Nigeria’s former Head of Service, Stephen Osagiede Oronsaye, on his 70th birthday.
In a statement, Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie Esq., conveyed the best wishes of the state government to Oronsaye, praying that God grants him good health and long life.
According to him, “I heartily celebrate Stephen Osagiede Oronsaye on his 70th birthday. He has been a shining beacon, a consummate professional and an inspiration to many who aspire to excellence in their chosen careers.
“On behalf of the government and people of Edo State, I wish him good health, wisdom and long life, to actualize his God-given potential and contribute to societal development.”
Oronsaye was former Head of Service of the Federation under the administration of President Musa Yar’Adua, wherein he led extensive reforms in the country’s federal bureaucracy. He was born in Lagos, but his parents hail from Uhunmwonde and Oredo Local Government Areas of Edo State.
