The Edo State Public Works Volunteers (PUWOV) has concluded physical verification and reassessment exercise for its personnel in Edo North and Edo Central Senatorial Districts.
In a statement, the Edo State Public Works Volunteers (PUWOV) Coordinator, Mukhtar Yusuf-Osagie, said the exercise which commenced on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in Edo North Senatorial District of the State, will end on Monday, May 27, 2024.
He explained that the exercise held today in Edo Central with the grand finale scheduled in Edo South Senatorial District on Monday.
Yusuf-Osagie asserted that the headcount is aimed at revalidating the identity of officials of the scheme and enhancing efficiency.
He said, “The Edo State Public Works Volunteers (PUWOV) has continued with the ongoing physical verification and reassessment of personnel across the State.
We have concluded with the officials in Edo North and Edo Central Senatorial District and will round off the exercise in Edo South Senatorial District on Monday, May 27, 2024.”
According to him, the Monday exercise will take place across all the seven local governments of Edo South Senatorial District, including Oredo, Ovia South West, Egor, Ovia North East, Orhionmwon, Ikpoba Okha and Uhunmwode.
The PUWOC Coordinator however noted that the physical verification and reassessment exercise was compulsory for all personnel of the scheme in the State.
