The Edo State Government has identified with the Special Adviser to the State Governor on Religious Matters, Apostle Sule Faraday, in appreciation of his excellence and dedication.
The recognition was marked by a special dinner at the instance of the Ministers Forum International (MFI) in honor of Apostle Faraday at Revival Age Ministry Incorporated, Faith Arena, Ekenwan Road, Benin City.
Apostle Faraday’s dedication was celebrated by a diverse gathering of ministers from various Christian denominations, including Anglican, Catholic, Assemblies of God, Methodist, Baptist, and Pentecostal churches. It showcased the “unity in diversity” of the Ministers Forum International.
The Coordinator of the office of the First Lady, Mrs. Edesili Okpebholo Anani, commended the organizers of the dinner, stating, “When you honour your own, the Lord will honour you. A new Edo has risen under the distinguished leadership of Sen. Monday Okpebholo, and we will return for thanksgiving”.
Apostle Faraday, who also serves as Chaplain of the Government House, expressed his gratitude to the Edo State Government, the MFI, and guests, saying, “I am deeply honoured by this gathering and the confidence His Excellency has placed in me. I remain committed to serving with dedication.”
The officiating Minister, Rev. Dr. Steven Loen, dwelt on the importance of honouring leaders who have made significant contributions to the faith community. “God has chosen to honour Apostle Sule Faraday among the mighty, and we must celebrate our own. We will continue to pray for the State and for His Excellency, Governor Monday Okpebholo,” he stated.
The event featured prayers for the well-being and guidance of Governor Okpebholo and the entire State, seeking divine wisdom and blessings for the leadership as well as residents.
