At official handover ceremony which was held at the phase one of Emotan Garden City, the Managing Director, Edo State Development and Property Agency, (ESDPA) John Zedomi, noted that the project started in 2018, and to expedite the project, it became expedient to graft the construction companies to deliver on time.

He said “this project started in 2018 and today, we are gathered here to celebrate the handover of the site to four outstanding real estate developers: Wall-Ties & Forms Construction, Land Smith Construction, D’Prince Builders and Ivy League ltd.

”This moment marks a very significant milestone in our journey towards making Emotan Garden City a transformative Development, in line with the vision of the governor Obaseki’s vision of providing affordable housing for citizens of Edo state in accordance with the MEGA Agenda.”

“Our chosen developers have demonstrated their expertise, commitment to quality and innovative vision. Together they will shape this land into a vibrant and sustainable community. As developers, you have the power to create spaces that improve lives, embrace sustainable housing practices, prioritize designs and engage with the local communities, as this handover is a new beginning, and not an end in itself.” He added.

Responding on behalf of the developers, the CEO of Wall-Ties & Forms CONSTRUCTION, Dr Mrs Nosa Omere promised the prompt delivery according to specifications, saying “we are not new here because we were here in 2021. We’ve been part of this and we know what is going on. So, coming back shows that among the first lot, we were able to keep up with the rules and regulations and that is why we are back here.”

Assuring on quality and prompt delivery of the housing units allocated to Wall-Ties & Forms., She continued “This is what we do, at Wall-Ties & Forms. construction did the sierra Leone airport, so this is nothing compared to what we have done. We are using technology to deliver within the time frame given to us.

We (WTF) are doing 240 units and it’s mixed development. WTF construction is west African and not just Nigerian, so ability to deliver to specifications is certain. We have six house types – two-bedroom semi detached, three-bedroom semi detached, two bedrooms block of flats, four bedroom tan-house, three-bedroom detached bungalow and four bedroom duplex.”
