EDSOGPADEC Chairman inspects ongoing road project, Pledges Harvest of Projects in Mandate Areas

The Chairman, Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission (EDSOGPADEC), Hon. Francis Osaretin Osabuohien has assured of Government’s readiness to ensure that indigenes in the oil producing areas of the State get equitable distribution of resources to enable development that will bring the dividends of democracy to various Local Government Areas.

Hon. Osabuohien during an inspection tour of the 13.6 kilometer Ugbokun-Iguebor road alongside other Board members in Ovia North East Local Government area of the State, emphasized the commitment of the Okpebholo led administration in ensuring that citizens from the oil producing Local Government Areas of the State get adequate presence of Government for improved livelihood and economic prosperity.

The EDSOGPADEC boss commended the level of work done by Raycon Nig.Ltd and gave the assurance that the Commission would put the needed logistics in place to ensure that the contractor is mobilized to site before the rainy season, as the road would help ease transportation of farm produce from Ugbokun community to different locations of the State.

Also speaking, Hon. Uwa Lawrence Ukah, a Board member representing Edo South, noted that EDSOGPADEC’s visit to the site aligned with the vision of Mr.Governor in ensuring that citizens in the mandate areas are adequately catered for.

Present alongside the Board Chairman and members were the Director Infrastructural Development, EDSOGPADEC, Engr. Mustafa Yakubu and a team of engineers.
