Governor Godwin Obaseki has joined eminent Nigerians at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) Golden Jubilee (50th Anniversary) celebration, in an ongoing event at the UBTH complex. Also at the event with the Governor are; the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Comrade Philip Shaibu, the Secretary to Edo State Government, Barr. Osarodion Ogie and other top government functionaries.
Other eminent Nigerians present at the event are; the former Military President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Gen. Dr. Yakubu Gowon, the Oba of Benin, ably represented by the Bazuaye of Benin Kingdom, Chief Oliha, The Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin, Prof Lilian Salami, the Chairman of Sterling Bank Nigeria, Barr. Asue Ighodalo, the Chairman of the Committee of CMDs in federal medical centres, Prof. Emem Bassey alongside members of the Committee, and other eminent personalities.
It should be recalled that the Edo State Governor recently hosted the Committee of Chief Medical Directors (CMDs) of federal medical centres in Nigeria at the Edo State Government House, who are currently in Benin to celebrate the Golden Jubilee (50th Anniversary) of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH).
