The John Odigie Oyegun Public Service Academy (JOOPSA) is a premier institution in West Africa, named in honour of the first Executive Governor of Edo State and a renowned Nigerian public servant, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun.
JOOPSA’s primary objective is to provide top-notch training, retraining, and development programmes for public servants, empowering them to deliver effective public services on behalf of the Edo State Government.
Under the leadership of Director-General Otamare Gina, a seasoned core civil servant, JOOPSA is poised to become a hub for innovative training and development programmes. Otamere’s extensive background in the Civil Service has equipped her with deep understanding of the workings of government and the challenges faced by public servants.
