The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has congratulated Otunba Dele Kelvin Oye Esq., on his elevation to the 1st Deputy President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA).
The governor, in a statement, urged Oye to deploy his wealth of experience and midas touch to impact positively on the organised private sector and place the country on the track of increased socio-economic growth and development
Obaseki noted: “On behalf of the Government and people of Edo State, I congratulate you, Otunba Dele Kelvin Oye Esq., on your well-deserved elevation to the 1st Deputy President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA).
“Oye, whose mother hails from Benin City, has carved a niche for himself in the organized private sector; true to type of someone with Edo heritage.”
The governor described Oye as a fine businessman, philanthropist and outstanding lawyer; adding, “Your emergence is attributable to your talent, dexterity and exploits in the organised private sector and the sterling leadership acumen, which you displayed while serving as President of Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and subsequently NACCIMA’s 2nd Deputy President.”
He noted, “The new role is a call to more service and another opportunity to showcase the invaluable leadership skills, capacity and knowledge that you have acquired over the years in the leadership of the Chamber.”
“I am confident in your capacity to deploy your wealth of experience and midas touch to impact positively on the organised private sector, placing Nigeria on the track of increased socio-economic growth and development. I wish you a successful tenure in office. Congratulations, once again,” Obaseki said.
