The event was well attended by local and international education stakeholders who were very keen to learn about the success of Edo State in reforming education while sharing their own experiences and insight.
The first phase of refurbishing will commence with 12 PHCs in Benin City and followed thereafter by 55 PHCs across LGAs.
Governor Obaseki is committed to reenacting education in Edo State with the application of innovative solutions for sustainability.

The event will recognise and award outstanding teachers, and there will be a gala night. There will be school visitations and a parent's summit where a panel will discuss values-based education. There will also be a sports competition - “Governor’s cup” and an EduCHEF competition
